    Staten Island Bridges

Client: Port Authority New York and New Jersey

The Staten Island Bridges were originally built to help improve motor vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic between New York and New Jersey in the early 1930s. This project included a variety of tasks to help improve travels on the Staten Island Bridges. Through a series of work orders, Ferreira Construction repaired joints on the Goethals Bridge, removed and replaced concrete slabs on the Bayonne Bridge, repaired catch basins at the Goethals and Bayonne Bridges, and repaired concrete slabs at the Outerbridge Crossing toll plaza. Ferreira worked while maintaining traffic lanes at all times.
