The PSEG Roseland – Pleasant Valley Project (RPV) is designed to strengthen the electric transmission system between the Roseland Switching Station in Roseland, N.J. and the Pleasant Valley Switching Station in Hopewell, N.J. The project replaces aging infrastructure in 17 municipalities, spanning 51-miles through Essex, Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Mercer counties. Ferreira is responsible for the construction of 262 drilled and reinforced caisson foundations ranging from 18 to 87 feet in depth and 7 to 12 feet in diameter as well as the installation and maintenance of the access roads and work pads during operations.
