Carlsbad Recycled Water Pipeline Expansion

The Recycled Water Phase project enhances the treatment of waste water using additional filtration and disinfection making the water usable for irrigation and other non-drinking purposes. The segment five expansion connected customers along Navigator Circle, Ponto Drive, and Avenida Encinas with the recycled water. The expansion included 18 miles of new piping ranging in 6” to 8” in diameter and a new 1.5 million-gallon storage tank. Ferreira’s work included installation of PVC pipe via open cut method or jack and bore system needed, and site restoration upon completion.
