Ferreira is currently working on the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Parkway performing consecutive bridge structural repair and deck resurfacing projects. The projects include scheduled maintenance to update New Jersey’s infrastructure along with being responsible for emergency repair response. Ferreira’s responsibilities include repairing deck spalls; repairing headers; substructure spall repair, substructure waterproofing, bearing replacement and bearing area repair, steel repairs; reconstruction of concrete piers; reconstruction of abutment headers; removing asphalt surfacing; placing new membrane waterproofing; resurfacing approach roadways and bridge decks; pavement striping; painting steel structures; emergency and routine repairs under cost-plus compensation; maintenance and protection of traffic measures and other incidental work on various bridge structures of the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.
