To keep up with the ever-growing electric vehicle market, a major utility company in Florida is expanding its efforts to provide consumers with convenient charging stations throughout the state. The latest area to welcome a new charging station is in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Ferreira Southern is the prime contractor on the project and is responsible for the reconstruction of the parking lot with the installation of an electric vehicle charging station with a solar canopy, a rest area, 6 EV charging posts, a battery energy storage system (BESS), and associated ancillary equipment. The project is ongoing and is set to be completed in the fall of 2023.
