The Fairwinds Cove is a condominium complex that consists of five buildings with 80 units located on the Jensen Beach Causeway. Fairwinds Cove Homeowners Association contracted Ferreira Southern to replace their failing seawall; a seawall protects the inland area against storm surges and coastal erosion. Ferreira Southern installed 590 linear feet of steel sheet pile wall, the wall is supported by 70 dead-man anchors and encapsulated in a seawall cap providing additional structural support. The sheet pile wall was installed via barges due to limited access from the landside. Additionally, Ferreira Southern performed associated site work including drainage, grading, and stone fill.
