The City of Moreno Valley adopted a Capital Improvement Plan for the fiscal years of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. The plan was developed in correspondence with the infrastructure needs of the community and the city’s financial capacity. Part of the plan was to perform a total traffic integration for the city. Ferreira Coastal was the prime contractor for the job and was responsible for Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), fiber optics and equipment, and self-performed splicing and testing of fiber optic cable and system acceptance testing. Additionally, Ferreira Coastal installed Dynamic Message System boards and structures integrating Caltrans with the City of Moreno Valley.
