The Barton Road Interchange consisted of improving traffic congestion and lengthening the existing bridge to accommodate future freeway improvements. Ferreira was subcontracted by Myers-Rados JV to perform the electrical portion of the project. Ferreira was responsible for the installation of Caltrans ramp metering systems, traffic signals, fiber optic communication, audio/visual systems, freeway lighting, including the installation of closed circuit television system (CCTV). Additionally, Ferreira self-performed the system acceptance testing and integration.
